So THAT's where all the masks went to!!!!!  200 MILLION?????

How would any one Thai person have the ability to acquire such a massive haul????

Hmmm..... perhaps the government and/or its players have some role in this one????

Careful I think I hear someone knocking at your door.

Deputy Agriculture Minister Thamanat Prompow on Monday denied involvement in the hoarding of 200 million units of face masks for sale to Chinese traders.

Of course he does! The question still remain, though. Is it true or is it false?

I just read today's BKK Post article on this...

Amazingly, the entire story is just Thamanat giving his explanation of how he personally had nothing to do with this at all, and how his aide had just met with the other guy for an introduction meeting once, but nothing came of it.  The entire story one-sided and doesn't even much say what was alleged in the Facebook post that apparently started the whole issue.

One sells face masks to China, the other one sells Heroin in Australia.

And the third one encroach on forest land and gets appointed as chief of anti corruption.

Stuff like this makes me embarrassed to live in a country like this.

Embarrassed? Don't feel embarrassed, feel good that you have moral standards that far surpass the lowly bottom feeders that run this show!

I have been asking a few pharmacies in Chiang Mai for the masks and all of them said it is sold out.

I only had the less effective ordinary cloth mask that is used for motorcycle.

Wonder what happened to the surgical mask.
