Long shot

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

A few months ago there was an amendment or new law passed regarding noisy annoying dogs and that the owners could be fined 10.000 baht.

I know it's a long shot but did anyone see this or have any info on how or where I can get the details?

Thanks so much for any help.

I wish, a few round us would be well out of pocket, some have 6 dogs left out all day going mad

In Thailand, like in Thailand, enacting a law and actually implementing it to the fruition are to different things, as Thailand have like millions laws on their books, some dating back over a century, how many are actually enforced? very, very few...

I do agree but if I can find it and print it and let the owners know maybe just maybe they may do something.

With the Thai mentality they will...........probably get some more dogs

Go to the Tessabaan and complain.   Ask for a form for neighbors who agree with you to sign echoing the complaint.  The Tessabaan will sent out an inspector and, if agrees with you, he will talk to the owner and have him sign a notice to take action.  Follow up will be in 2 weeks to see if action was taken.   Done that; it works.
