This is a good example of one of the reasons I Never use a debit card. Only credit cards.

Most Thai credit cards have an annual fee also...a very healthy fee.

In answer to the other post, the bank is Kasikorn. I am closing my account with them, because they have been screwing me around on transferring accounts from one province to another.

Wow, so you're one of those posters that remembers everything and is never mistaken.

The reason I didn't figure it out was it listed as an ATM transaction on the online portal. Permit me to doubt you would have done any better.
