How sweet to be so naive.

You probably believe the last election results, Prawit's watch story and the heroin dealer's complete and utter unadulterated bollðcks!

Nah he works here and he has rules to follow it's part of his job.

Tracy Daszkiewicz, Director of Public Health for Wiltshire Council, said: "I can confirm that a fourth adult in Wiltshire has tested positive for coronavirus after returning from a trip to Thailand, and they have self-isolated. This means we still only have four cases of coronavirus in Wiltshire.

Two new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Queensland.

The first case is an 81-year-old male who is in a stable condition in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He has recently returned from Thailand.

Remind me again - how many cases here ...

Tick Tock numbers being found with travellers coming from Thailand increasing at a more exponential rate than the confirmed cases in Thailand. Just this last week we have had a confirmed case in Australia, one in India, one who made a runner when being detained on arrival in Zimbabwe and now this one in the UK.

And how many people over the 14 days + did this IO infect?

Contact does not necessarily equate to transmission

Problem could be asymtomatic spreaders travelling to other centres and countries

Might have to do with the weather, a lot warmer here than in China, South Korea and North Italy at the moment.

Then again it might not.Malaysia has 2 times as many cases as Thailand and Singapore has 3 times as many cases.

Here we go...............

Six new patients, along with an immigration officer and an airport worker, tested positive for the novel strain of coronavirus, health officials said.

The new patients include a 21-year-old immigration officer, a 40-year-old man working at Suvarnabhumi Airport, according to Department of Disease Control Sophon Iamsirithawon, bringing the total cases of infection in Thailand to 59.

A 25-year-old man office worker, a 27-year-old woman returning from South Korea, a 40-year-old man returning from Japan, and a 36-year-old Singaporean restaurant owner were also found to have the virus.

Singapore is colder than Thailand. Don't know about the controls in Malaysia.

Look at any of the global tracking maps on the internet. Temperature and climate doesn't seem to matter.

So, let's say he got it in immigration from a passport, then gave it to the next passport, the next , the next, good luck tracing them all

He will have probably recorded each passport in his computer so if the TM30 rule is followed then tracking should not be a problem.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. I left on Sunday for CNX, barely any gel to be found at Suvarnabhumi. At CNX no gel anywhere on arrival and the same on departure. Obviously this was through domestic but on an international trip a couple of weeks ago I had a very similar experience.

From the OP:

According to (Dr.) Pichaya, the staff who works at the outgoing passenger screening checkpoint is now in quarantine at the hospital.
