In the motorcycle forum someone mentioned he will buy a used motorcycle from a rental company because in the moment those companies don't have much business and they want to get rid of some bikes.

Maybe something like that also applies to car rental companies.

Just an idea - and you can rent your car for a day or two before you buy it.

 

at least you didn't put honest in the title, i would look at the main dealers 2nd hand sales, but buying 2nd hand is always a gamble depending on your mechanical skills, and depending on how old a car you are looking for there will be lots of finance snatch backs about in the coming months.
