What is wrong with calling it: Chinese virus

Featured Replies

Not meant to be a joke.

Spanish flu.

African flu

Hong Kong flu

All true and factual

I am sure there are other true historical descriptions of viruses/diseases named from specific countries.

I do not know what the big deal is with the "Chinese virus."  It is not racist or discriminatory.  It did start in China and from all indications,

from Wuhan cultural habits.

It is what it is.  What is the problem?

The deadly "Batwuhanflu" from China?

Or simply: Chinese Wuhanbatflu?

There's a lovely Chinese family living next door to someone in a far off land outside of China who had sod all to do with it.

The Spanish flu didn't start in Spain it apparently started in the USA.
