Corona insurance.. Is this a scam ?

Featured Replies

People are all talking about cheap corona insurance.

I have been sent this

Communication with the company over details of per day, per room, per anything gets just this

Hi xxxxxx,

The product covers all medical expenses including the test of the coronavirus if you test positive. All hospital expenses are covered under the package. They have not been split by ICU and or hospital room. If you have been admitted into the hospital, you also do not need to prepay, the insurance company will deal with the hospital directly in Thailand.

Hope that answers your questions

That seems insane.

If estimates that 50% of people may get it, and 20% of them will need critical care, how does 450 (or even 850) have any hope whatsoever of balancing the books.

I have as yet been unable to get any actual policy wording, they keep sending the confirmation of cover note as tho thats a policy.

Many Thais I know are jumping all over it.

If it was AXA, Bupa, or other known company, I might consider it,

But, "We-B-Insurance" !?!
