Covid-19: Navy beaches all shut in Sattahip

The Royal Thai Navy announced yesterday that they were shutting all their beaches in Sattahip until further notice.

The message on "Navyland" on Facebook said this was to help contain the spread of coronavirus.

77kaoded posted other notices about the closure until further notice of Toei Ngam and Sor beaches.

Shame this wasn't reported yesterday. I got turned away at Sattahip Navy entrance to Marine Golf this morning. Royal Fleet Golf is still open and no restrictions were visible on the beaches there

And this will stop the virus HOW?.....

I doubt they are claiming it will, let us hope preventing people collecting together on the beaches there will slow down its progress.

whilst converting the 'chakri naruebet' into a floating quarantine hospital ship?
