What about all the people from the closed entertainment industry, and now the many thousands of mall and market workers returning up country back home en masse to the provinces / villages. That wasnt well thought out. They have created the very situation they were hoping to avoid cancelling Songkrahn. Surely these people one of the highest risk carriers being in contact with foreigners and international travellers. I dont know what the solution would be? Self quarantine in their area of work? However Im guessing many live hand to mouth and probably dont have funds to live unpaid for more than few days. U watch the numbers in the country accelerate next few weeks

As someone has already pointed out the numbers won’t accelerate as they won’t get tested, albeit the infected numbers will increase.

Doesn't really matter anymore, it is now blindingly clear the exponential growth started two weeks or so ago. There is a two week delay even if you do test and it's probably a couple more weeks in Thailand becasue of the lack of testing:
