Read it properly! He said they expect new cases to 'spike, stabilize and then reduce' after a week. He said nothing about when the infection would be finally over.

An unwarranted swipe at a long time professional who knows a lot more about this topic than you do.

And a lot less than Western professionals. It will not spike in a week and then reduce. Check out the graphs/statistics of other countries affected by Covid-19. Thailand is at the beginning of the upward trajectory, not the end.

Just another Thai nomark so called expert trying to make a name for himself.

Very true and sadly very likely to happen.

If there is one thing good I hope comes from this, it will be that the Thai people realise they cannot blindly follow their 'leaders' anymore and will in the future more wisely choose who they elect to govern - maybe.

Ahhhh yes.

It's meaningless spin intended to reassure the punters that the government is in charge. It's like "free" advice - worth exactly what you pay

Indeed. Free advice, and worth every penny of the cost.

another 188 today, phase 3

Even if it jumps to 15,000 people, with a 2% death rate, that is insignificant in the realm of dangers and habits here in Thailand that end peoples life on a daily basis.

I just wish I could get myself a cheap ventilator on Alibaba or Lazada  5555

How can you trust "Team Thailand" with this clown connected to it ?

He would have to take several years to grow a Brain first !

It is rising exponentially. This is just the start.

Maybe, only time will tell on this.

We have probably had several 'superspreader events' over the last few weeks due to government inaction, these have now stopped.
