Koh Lipe,a small L-shaped island off the southern province of Sutun, will be closed to visitors from March 28 (Saturday) until further notice , said Satun Governor Wiranan Pengjun.

The island with its hotels and tourist attrcations, will remain closed until the Covid-19 pandemic is contained.

There is no Covid-19 case reported on the island, but it is better to be safe than sorry, said the governor.

Fly to Hat Yai, taxi or minibus to Pak Bara, speedboat to Koh Lipe

Flights to Hat Yai from Bangkok with Thai Smile, VietJet, Nok Air, Air Asia or Thai Lion
