Samui bank closures due to COVID

Went to SCB Central Festival this morning. Sign in the window saying that due to COVID, bank will close Friday 27th March until further notice. Online banking and ATM available.

 

I noticed that both Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn were both also closed, but did stop to read any signs in their windows. This was around 11:10.

To buy essentials, food and water. Went to ATM to withdraw cash. I don't have a Thai credit card, and do not like to use a debit card as fraudsters can empty bank account. Not that there's a lot in there.
