All are fit and well and ready to return to their families. The hospital director, Dr. Supat Hasuwankit, said in his Facebook post today that this was a happy moment for the patients and their families, after having been in hospital since March 17th. He said that the group had been to Malaysia, to attend a religious ceremony earlier this month, which is when it is thought they contracted the disease. Elkski Posted April 1, 2020 Share Posted April 1, 2020 If they can be released why a further week in a separate room and eating separate meals? So there is no way to verify they ate not contagious? So much unknown still at this point. It's not like the hospital was overrun with covid19 patients? But I imagine it is a strain and big expense on the hospital.
