Thomas J Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 House has had many "Thai" plumbers. Really handymen who have limited knowledge of plumbing system. Need someone to correct how water is flowing to the home. Though the home has two underground water storage tanks, water will only flow from the municipal water. Want to have it that tanks are used for outside landscape and if necessary switched over to house if municipal water is shut off.
plumberman123 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 if the water tanks are underground you will need a pump if they are above ground then the higher they are sighted the better the pressure will be. what do you want to do? what is your budget?

Want the system so that city water goes to house when it is available. 2. Want a valve to divert water using tank water to water garden 3. Want a valve to have pump connect to underground tanks when city water is not available 4. Install a water filter to remove sediment before entering the pump.

giddyup Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Just now, Thomas J said: giddyup I assume you don't know the persons name and phone number? He was employed by the village when I first bought the house, he no longer does that kind of work. I find that the guys who have the small shops that repair fridges, washing machines etc are usually pretty good for pump installation etc. Do you already have the pump?
