The economies are all linked. The global economy will be a total mess whatever we do, no way to avoid it. The really big fear is that health systems collapse. It seems that this danger is past in many countries. So when the number of cases and deaths are going down, plans can be made to tentatively reopen things. Many countries in Europe are making these plans.
