PHUKET: The Phuket Communicable Disease Committee (Apr 20) again reported zero new confirmed cases of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus as the door-to-door checks in Cherng Talay continue.

Today’s update brings the total number of people in Phuket recognised as infected with the disease since the outbreak began to 192.

The report does mark that the total of 192 does include the Hungarian tourist who died from his injuries in a road accident but was confirmed as infected with COVID-19 while in hospital care.

Few days ago the local governor was ordered replaced / to be transfered to isaan soon.

Then suddenly Phuket goes from the 'hotspot' of new cases, to 'no new cases'?

Just a coincidence?
