They'll start doing sewage monitoring in large scale in Finland in June. They are already monitoring for drugs, etc. It's a quick warning signal for areas with clusters, but it only works if you have a good sewage treatment plan network. Thailand doesn't have one.

Plus I highly doubt thai medics have test kits that can tell the results immediately.

 

I'm frontline here with priority testing and it still takes at least a couple of days for results

Uh, that was disproven a week ( or more?) back. A med person had got infected who was handling a corpse. The pandemic moves onward.
