You think i had bloody time to take photos? Bloody stupid thing to say, i was in danger of losing my life, my home.

  • Pictures or it never happened.

  • I cant think how an abled bodied person would have coped being presented with that situation alone, as we all know Colin is not and he handled things very well considering his situation.   W

Yeah you got lucky this time good to hear safe with all the animals and wifey. Looks like a mini jungle from the pics so if only some of it burned then you are not out of the fire woods yet until it is all cut cleared. when we are able to buy alcohol again, maybe a donated case of beer to the fire gents would go miles.

Days gone by I can personally remember YOU being responsible for most cataclysmic events in our locality........????????

Well I've just woken up after a nap just to read about Colin's blockbuster and three pages of critical acclaim following the Great Fire of Ban Phai village.

Very pleased to hear you're OK mate, I see you were doing your James Bond impression - shaken, not stirred.

Glad nothing of yours perished, even the cows were OK, so not even the chance of roast beef. I did like Carlos on the scene 'photographs' of you escaping the Towering Inferno.

I see you've now finished your extended quarantine period, having been outside the gate for the first time in many weeks. You're a hermit no longer.

What about the film rights? Who will be playing you? Derek Jacobi spring to mind, as I just watched series 5 of Last Tango In Halifax last night.

You've obviously got your compose back, seeing as you've managed to write a mini-epic about it.

Take care, pleased you and your wife are safe.

Glad everything turned out fine. Don´t worry. You´re no annoyance. You just post as you see it. That´s commendable.

Congratulations Colin, there still has not been an axe made that can kill you.

Yesterday 4 men arrived with brush cutters and started cutting down the 3 meter high reeds etc, appears they got fed up cutting it, so the stupid bar stewards set light to it, and nearly destroyed parts of our village... bloody idiots.

I hope the police know who they are and make them pay all the costs.

It would be great to thing that might happen. I bet Colin wouldn't even get 500 Baht and a wai.

I thought you were going to tell us you whipped a couple of sausages and burgers  ????

Alls well that ends well as they say

I understand you well, especially when you and I  know his history;
but it was not his house and his animals that were targeted but the whole village.

BIG problem with that, according to my wife, the land owner, and fire starter is a retired policeman.

It is not going to be easy, indeed , because we all know that Thailand should be but unfortunately is not the rule of law.
I think that if the population takes collective action by petitioning at "Jacky Chan" you should get there.

Not everyone can know that in this case Jacky Chan is the mayor of Ban Phai

You've misspelt it - it's 'retarded', judging by what he's been up to.

Good on you Col, you're a true survivor. ????
