Sanook reported that a 97 year old Thai woman has recovered from the coronavirus in Phuket.

She is thought to be the oldest in Thailand to do so.

The lady was featured on the Facebook page of Nattapon Chueasaman who said that the patient was from Bang Thao. The Thai health service was praised for their help in helping the lady recover.

The Covid-19 crisis center said that the patient was the 188th victim of the pandemic in Phuket and had been infected by victim #174 at her home.

She entered hospital on April 14th but has now gone home.

Shouldn't one try to find out why very old people survive the virus? It might also help understand better this pathogen.
