I had a friend once who I was playing golf with one day. One of the others in the foursome was about to chip onto the green when he saw a long funeral procession on the road next to the course.  In mid-swing he stopped his swing and took off his golf cap, closed his eyes, and bowed down in prayer. My friend said to him afterward: "Wow! That is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You are truly a kind man."

The other man looked at him, smiled and replied, "Yeah, well, we were married for 35 years."
