What is the one thing that Thailand and every other country in the world needs? We've been told it time and time again haven't we. Herd immunity, the world need herd immunity.

 

Are we ever going to get to the stage of herd immunity by hiding away in social isolation and hoping that Covid 19 will just 'go away?' No we are not.

Many people try to obey the rules, some don't. It's the same all over the world. Yesterday evening went out for thirty minutes to get food. Most people wearing masks, some not, some sometimes because of phone, drinking, eating, smoking. Saw a few trucks of packed construction workers, not all wearing masks.

Captain Bob, do you think just this long weekend people have started travelling between provinces? Well i can tell you it definately has not, there's many references to people doing it throughout this site.

 

I will also travel next week, not concerned about check points at all.

 

I would say within the last week the amount of vehicles on the roads and people out and about carry on with the normal lives ( as much as possible ) has increased enormously.

This will be unpopular but i really don't see the big deal. if leaving Chonburi which boasts one of the lowest infection rates and death rates , then we do not have infected people returning home. The lockdown is set to lift as the holidays end anyways so people will be free to move about the country regardless.

They have checkpoints at province borders but the police are just waving people through.  The government is not enforcing it. 

 

Anyway all this lockdown, social distancing BS is just prolonging the whole thing.  Better to let it run it's course and be done with it.

 

Those saying people are selfish because they want to go enjoy themselves are being selfish themselves.  Stop being afraid of healthy people.
