Lots of confusion, and that is a bad thing for foreigners, as it makes them vulnerable to be extorted.  The BP is saying it is illegal to drink in public, but that contradicts police reports that say people were charged with social gatherings that involved alcohol, which have in some cases included people actually in their homes.  So, is it ok to drink in public if you are alone?  Exactly how many can you drink with at home before it becomes a crime?  Does the law state "only at home" or is that BS?

Yes and not sure but asking for a friend who has no computer.
One can drink at home if it is where he lives but if a friend comes around it is against the law. Yes I agree the rules are ridiculous indeed but don't want him run the risk of being spotted or those nosy parkers in a village would go to the police
thanks all
ps Perhaps he can drink for his friend ie 4 bottles instead of 2?? But can come around for something to eat. absolutely ridiculous
