Does anyone know anybody who is raising and selling crawfish around Chiang Mai or in the northern area? I've been to the Royal Project out in Sankampaeng as someone suggested in a 3 year old post, but they gave it up 3 years ago. Any other up to date information would be appreciated. I'm not interested in raising them, just for party purposes, BBQ's or if they have a lot, I have lots of friends who are interested. Red Claw would be preferred.

You might try contacting Doug Harrison, owner of the Bourbon Street restaurant in Bangkok (see his website). He serves crawfish in the restaurant (though I have not been in a couple of years I presume he still does). Years ago he told me he contracted with a particular Thai fish farmer who provided the crawfish. Doug is a nice guy (from New Orleans) and he might give you a contact.
