If the media agree with him, they are his best friends. If they are critical he wants to close them. I think he has to learn what democracy is.

If you click on the warning it tells you why and gives the reasons.

Not gonna happen.

Ask yourself the question, if he shuts down Twitter.

- How he gonna fire his staff

- How he gonna defame everyone who doesn't agree with him.

- How he gonna spread his ever growing lies

- How he gonna give everyone derogatory nicknames.

I'm sure he will have second thoughts about this

As he said once, he could shoot somebody, people will still vote for him.

It does show the values of some, well many !

Here we go again... regurgitating the "Trump voters are deplorables" angle once again. You're insulting a lot of people. He won - get over it.

When someone lies and is correctly called out for it, to subsequently threaten them for doing so is shameful. To believe that yours is the only voice people need to hear and that everything you say, true or fabricated should be uncensored and go without question or check is the action of a complete megalomaniac. Not all things against Donald are fake news, though sadly it seems the majority of what he comes out with is threats or "fake news."

Always thought the using bleach as a treatment against corona as a sarcastic dig at the assembled "experts" present.

ah come one....the only fact checker you will accept as anything more than fake news and the enemy of the people is Kelly Anne Conway and Big Orange himself. So unless it is that, there is no right answer as far as you are concerned. You know what you need.....a nice big bowl of ALTERNATIVE FACTS.....washed down with a steaming hot cup of EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE and topped off with a heaping helping of FOX NEWS OPINION!!!!!! (because Fox News Proper is the enemy of the people...those treasonous traitors)

If they don't get rid of this numbskull soon, all the world will really believe all Americans are nutjobs.

Its as if the guy has split personalities, and he has no idea of the lies that his other personalities have told.

It can be no wonder if Twitter puts warning notices on just about everything he says.

The comment he made about spraying, disinfecting yourself, and even drinking stuff, us a prime example.

Then when people actually tried it and got sick, hes like

"I dont know where people are getting these ideas from"

LOL.

The ironical thing is, Trump was one of the first to call out "fake news" but he himself uses it constantly in all his silly rants.

If Covid teaches us anything, we should be really enforcing laws where individuals and corporations can get sued to the nines for reporting outright lies and rubbish.

Of course half of Youtube will get shut down instantly, but so be it if it stops the dumbing down of the the next generation.

What of all the youth coming up that know no better, and actually believe all this reptillian shape shifter and UFO rubbish.

"And Jesus Wept"...is a term you once saw quite often on ThaiVisa,

but these days there has never been a time more fitting.

Twitter had one chance at this. They needed to get it right. Too bad they totally screwed this up by employing a deranged Trump hater as head of Twitter "site integrity". After these stunning revelations I hope Trump gets Twitter closed. This appears to me to be a blatant attempt as electoral interference. Not very democratic, and not fair play.

You can still access the video tape of that disinfectant comment. Go look at it in its entirety and then think about your comment as to it being 'sarcasm'.

Not even close. He was dead serious and rational people could tell he was actually proud of himself, thinking he had discovered a miracle cure.

Well seems the twitter guy knows his facts about trump and associates.

Heres a tip, if you dont like it then dont twit. I note your view n freedom of speech by wanting it closed down. You only want your freedom of speech, sod the rest.

He lacks any authority to block a private company whose platform is international in scope. His comment simply shows that he has no concept whatsoever of the Constitution of the United States of America. He obviously never read the document, has read no court opinion regarding it, is completely baffled by the 1st Amendment and is totally befuddled by what 'free' or 'freedom' means, and clearly is against those things like freedom that put reins on whatever powers might be granted to one temporarily occupying the office of the Presidency.

Comes across as more hyperbolic bluster and attack on Free Speech which a President is actually obliged to protect due to their Oath of Office. Maybe someone can correct me, but am I not correct a President does not have the authority to close down a publicly held media outlet. Also there is a Federal Law permitting social media companies to moderate third party end user posted content contrary to their policies - look it up - Section 230

Can't recall where I read it but recently someone was remarking how President Trump absolutely does not personally care for  members of his support base.

Joe Average, working stiff certainly won't ever be staying in one of the expensive hotels owned by Trump nor is he likely to be playing golf a few holes behind the Trump party.

And his yacht club would be definitely off limits to Mr. Joe Average.

But funny to hear the President talk as if his fan base is his big buddy.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am sure he likes it when he is in front of the cheering masses.

And probably at the same time he will think something like: What a bunch of brainless idiots.

It is probably unfair to refer to his supporters as 'Deplorables', even though many have come to embrace that epithet.

It is much more fair to use actual data to show what his demographic looks like.

-His highest demographic rating is among non-college educated white males; his lowest is among those with advanced degrees.

-Though the 2016 polls were 100% accurate in predicting HRC's margin of victory in the popular vote (~3%), post election analysis reveals an interesting truth:  he won a full 85% of all US Counties, but combined they represent only 38% of US GDP. HRC won only 15% of US Counties, but they account for 62% of US GDP. Doing the math indicates that HRC counties are 9.25 times more productive than counties he won. 9.25 times.

-States where he had his largest margin of victory---such as TN, KY, WV---happen to be States with the highest percentage of residents on Social Security Disability Insurance and have the highest rates of opioid addiction. If one labelled SSDI as an 'employer', the largest employer in KY, TN and WV is SSDI.

-He won States that are net takers from the Federal Govt, that is, States that receive more in Federal Assistance than their residents pay in taxes. He lost most States who are the highest net contributors to the Federal Budget. His most crushing loss was CA, the State that is far and away the largest net contributor to the Federal Budget, and he lost NY and NJ, which are 2nd and 3rd largest net contributors. In other words, he did best in States that rely on CA, NY and NJ to survive.

You're right of course.  The free press won't let him get away with endless lies, which is why he calls them the enemy.  Only Twitter has allowed Trump to lie with impunity....until now (well, hopefully they stick to their guns).

Trump can't do much because Twitter is a private company.  But he can certainly issue threats.  Just the thought of Barr and the DOJ going after them for "something" may give Twitter pause.  Can't believe I'm even talking about this in the context of the USA....or what we used to stand for.

Yes you follow a liar.

Also please can you provide evidence where Trump was right and the factcheckers are wrong?

Actually the south got tired of it back in the 60's after the passage of the Civil Right Bills and quickly turned Republican.

Yeah, other than the Democrat party being the party of slavery, Jim Crow, George Wallace, Joe Biden and the KKK, they do a pretty good job of pretending to be for civil rights.

Sad that the Democrats got so much more progressive, about slavery, Jim Crow, KKK. That is why the south turned Republican.

He’s also been attacking Fox News, he’s running out of platforms for his lies.

He’s done the moment there are more ratings and dollars in exposing Trump’s lies than there is In publishing them without question.

Murdoch has a long history of backing winners. Remember how The Sun, in the UK, a lifetime Conservative Party supporter suddenly switched allegiance to Blair, who went on to win the forthcoming election by a landslide?

Fox News deserting him is a sure sign that he'll be out in November.

This is something every human should support. We cannot have Twitter or anyone else deciding what the truth is.

So true.  It was Howard Stern, one of Trump's closest pal, who talked about this very recently.  Trump despises the MAGA crowd.  He has nothing in common with these people.  He'll gladly take their support, but wants nothing to do with them on a personal level.  Think Trump University.  Does Trump respect the people who actually believed in him and shelled out real money?  Heck no.  In Trump's mind, anyone stupid enough to fall for his con doesn't deserve his respect.  I tend to agree with him.

I agree that Trump should get off Twitter - and move to Minds. I am sure Twitter will not miss 8m followers.

Joe Rogan (the biggest podcaster) is leaving YT because they will not allow him to have on medical experts that do not follow the party line on COVID.
