Thai media 77kaoded reported that the governor of Trat province that borders Cambodia on the far end of the eastern seaboard has opened up to tourists and the general public again.

The province - that contains the highly popular island of Koh Chang - had been closed to travellers for two months.

Many tourists sought refuge on Koh Chang and were allowed to stay there during lockdown.

Governor Phichit Limwangyu decided at Trat town hall yesterday that enough was enough.

Visitors will be obliged to register using the "Thai Chana" tracing app when visiting the province.

Well done ! Enough is enough, so true

Are there any public or tourists buses going toward Trat or the 2 piers from Bangkok?  When normal transportation from Ekkamai will resume?

Nice. Of course now that they’ve crashed the USD, and other western currencies—we sure won’t spend as much as before.
