You need to read up on surveys and uncertainty. In order to be 99% certain that you're within 25% of the right answer, you only need to survey 27 random people in a population of 60,000,000. Don't believe me? Enter your own numbers... https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/sample-size-calculator/ It would be one thing if the survey said 52%, but when it says 75%, you'd have to be surveying people right outside the Thai equivalent of a Young Republicans pep rally to get it that far off. You can be 99% sure that you're within 4% of the correct answer if you survey 1000 random people in a population of 60 million. Meaning it's a safe bet that between 70-80% of Thais would prefer to keep foreigners out for the time being. https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/margin-of-error-calculator/ Edited June 15, 2020 by impulse
expat1010
Everyday my Gf asks me when do I think I can come back to Thailand? Everyday I tell her I am guessing November but it depends on what the Thai government says. Sarcasm alert for the hard of thinking.. Not really. The virus first emerged in China. It wasn’t “started” in the way you seem to imply in terms of being deliberate. additionally, although there was confusion and misreporting of cases at the beginning, probably due to the Chinese authorities not yet knowing what they were dealing with, although also possibly due To wanting to downplay numbers, there is nothing to suggest that the Chinese have continued to deliberately under report. The latest Beijing cluster indicating both transparency and immediate action. So if there is a second wave, the Chinese seem ready willing and able to take effective strong action......trampling over civil liberties as they do so, but effective and strong nevertheless. 1

Sydney is clean, no rubbish, no doggy pavements, no sewage outfalls near beaches, and no queer smells everywhere. As it says below: 5
