Can anybody recommend a good painter and decorator in bkk? I want to repaint  75 sq.m. 2bed newish condo, in Huai Khwang. Speaking a little English would be good.

Never seen a  good one here yet, spent my entire  life decorating for a living in the UK interior/exterior...........retired so don't  ask, do  my own still though.

Things they love to do here, thin  paint with so  much water it virtually washes away, roll vertically with  nice tram lines on the primer coats, do it in full sun.

The  only thing you need to be sure of  with any decoration involving paint is CLEANLINESS, also  lacking here.

Yah.  Painters are pretty much the bottom of the totem pole of Thai labor.  A decorator will be $$$ and still might not get a good paint job.  If you can't DIY, you could get the neighbor kid to do the painting as long as you supervise.  You shouldn't need to prime if already been painted.  Use premium paint (DO NOT dilute), clean first, use drop cloths, mask off the windows, cut in the edges and corners, get a decent roller and apply with "X" then fill in.
