Thai Mother accused of murdering seven-year-old son in UK appears in court
A THAI woman accused of murdering her seven-year-old son in the UK has appeared at Swansea Crown Court this week, where the case was described as “extremely complicated” by her defence team. Papaipit Linse, 42, is charged with the murder of her son, Louis Linse, who was found dead at a house in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on January 10. The defendant, who remains in custody, appeared in court on Monday but was not asked to enter a plea. John Hipkin KC, representing Linse, requested that she not be arraigned due to the case’s psychiatric complexities, highlighting the need for additional time to complete necessary reports. In response, Judge Paul Thomas KC adjourned the case to a further hearing on October 25th. No trial date has been set at this stage. The prosecution is led by Caroline Rees KC, while the defence is handled by John Hipkin KC. During the brief court appearance, no new details of the case were revealed. How many here on the Farang Pub hope to die in Thailand?
Dear Folks, If you are like me, then you will have probably given this question much thought in recent years. Where do you hope to die? For me, it's a no-brainer....Thailand is where I hope to die. I am not saying that I often think of dying. I am only saying that I love Thailand so much that I hope to die here. Also, I am not so young that I want to travel around the world, just looking for some other place to die. Thailand, after over a decade of non-stop life here, without leaving, is still the place to die....for me. There are very few better places to die. And, dying here has the potential to provide reincarnation, as well. Here in Thailand, we can enjoy a much more laid-back dying experience. Death, here in Thailand, is far less to be feared, unlike some places, where they try to keep you alive....until... The very bitter end, which is always a bitter experience, or so I have been told. I think that guys like me are lucky to be in Thailand, waiting to die here, when the time is ripe. I will not be sorry to never return to my home country, or to.... The Main Line...... Death on the Main Line would be far less cheerful, IMHO. Here in Thailand, I find the prospect of dying far less distasteful..... What about you? Are you, as I, equally hopeful of dying in Thailand? No. I am not saying that this must happen tomorrow. And, I expect to die here in Thailand.....maybe..... In the year 2062.... A year, I predict, will be 1.5 degrees C...hotter than now. Any good thoughts about dying? Best regards, Gamma -

Getting a credit card
All my credit cards are not secured. MTL is not connected to kasikorn bank. https://www.muangthai.co.th/en/about-mtl In a few years time I will receive all my investment. I can close the MTL account if I like. Just be careful on how you reply, you are being reckless, not giving the correct information. If you are eligible, you will receive an unsecured credit card -

Returning to Thailand from Mexico and bringing my mid sized dog
It's pretty straightforward. Assuming they are too big to go in the cabin, make sure they are booked in the cargo hold as excess baggage NOT cargo. (Bringing them in as a cargo shipment is a lot more complicated and expensive.) You'll need: Microchip record (must have been done at the same time or before the rabies vax). Their vaccination record, with the latest jabs being at least 3 weeks and no more than a year old. (The vax needed are Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis). You don't need a titer test. A basic health certificate (no special format) from your vet confirming they are healthy and fit to fly. It should include the animal's name, species, age, sex (and whether neutered or not), breed, color, birthmarks, weight, microchip number, and date of birth. As well as your name and passport number. This will need to be in English. The vet needs to sign, stamp and date it. The exporting country normally determines how long the health certificate is valid for. If Mexico has no regulations on it, get it within 10 days of your arrival. You used to have to email all the documents through and get the import permit in advance, but they issue it on arrival now. But if you have to get an export certificate from Mexico (some countries do, some don't) AND you need the import permit, you can still request it in advance. They used to be pretty responsive to emails [email protected] but it seems a bit more hit-and-miss these days, so you might have to call if you need to contact them 02 1343640 When you arrive, you pick your dog up from the animal quarantine station by baggage claim #8. They will check the microchip and your paperwork and do the import permit. You have to pay the import fee there (I think it was 510 THB, cash only). Then you go through 'something to declare' and they will charge you custom's duty. I paid about 1,000 THB for my neutered mutt, but I've heard of people getting stung for a lot more for unneutered pedigree dogs. Keep all your receipts. If you take them out of Thailand again, you don't have to pay again to reimport them. If there is a possibility of you wanting to take the dog to the USA in the next few years, look into going there now and getting a 3-year rabies booster from a USDA-accredited vet before you travel. It's very difficult to take a dog to the USA with a local vaccination record.
