Travel bubbles mean that Chinese, Japanese, Korean Tour Groups come into Thailand for 3,4 or 5days. It is the wrong approach. If some of these people bring the virus with them, they can not be tracked, because they have already left, when it is found out.

It would be more wise, to let those foreigners first in, who want to stay for several months. They can be put on a 14day quarantine in their hotels, condos, houses, tested after 12,13 days and when negative are not a risk to Thailand.

I guess you don't speak about tourists.
Or how many people can go on vaccation for "several months"?

All great responses - I do not understand the rationale behind this

decision at all.  It will do nothing to help the millions out of work

because of continual fractured tourist policies.  You can carefully

open up the hospitality industry, including foreigners.

COVID is a exuse. The army don't like whites. There gov has crumbled they will continue to tear apart the heart of Thailand for there own egos. This guy is a born hater and this gov needs to be dissolved for the damage done over there tender as enforcers.

Except that they're not to keen on having foreigners pitching their tents here for longer than a week or two.

Yes logic pevails. Self quarantine for long stayers you surely help the Thai economy larglely. Do a passport check people who have lived or stayed long periods in the Kingdom understand and have more respect than some filthy Chinese. The word here is respect. But we are dealing here with anti white government.  Need a new administration period.

Oxford University developed a new vaccination method for training peoples' immune system to produce more T-cells.

If that works, it should be made mandatory for travelers to Thailand where no locally transmitted CoviD-19 case has occurred for 2 months now.

Still in testing.

The Government has a duty under International Law to allow Thai Nationals into the country and should make the necessary arrangements without further delay.

As regards tourism the Government is clearly out of its depth and leaving the country open to mass unrest owing mass unemployment brave and decisive decisions have to be made swiftly forget about purchasing aircraft which will probably be obsolete owing environmental issues before they even arrive.

The one aspect of these declarations about "tourism can wait, travel can wait, the bubble can wait, we don't need tourism right now", is that they are almost always spoken by men who are collecting a full salary, many benefits, and are more than likely quite wealthy to begin with.

You rarely ever hear somebody who is a person a of modest means talking about this kind of thing. I'm not necessarily advocating opening up the country right now, but I do think tourism could be extended to those from safe nations, to those who are willing to get tested, and I do think that there are quick test kits that could be administered at the airport at the expense of the tourists. While the tourists waits for the results in a comfortable lounge. There are workarounds. And there are millions of jobs at stake. So this is a fairly complex issue.

Problem is it has to be tested on people over a long period of time to determine if there are any ill effects, what is good for one might not be good for the rest, this testing will take many months if not years, there is actually over a dozen drugs being tested on humans not just one.

And absolutely unfeasible and pointless.

Explain why.

You miss the point that they did it before to close the border and it worked perfectly.

Are you that kind of pretentious individual who holds the truth and is realistic without ever providing the slightest proof? A kind of guru without any evolved idea but who knows everything?

Please, teach us the true my lord...

Often forgotten in these discussions is the fact that dengue, malaria, t.b. and car wrecks donot follow you home and infect your wife, kids, mom and dad and one or two of them may die.

no sure, it is always for the other... even if you know someone seek by malaria or deng or a road accident, you deny that in fact, it can "follow" everyone.

The problem of this kind of mind thinking is the word "follow" and to imagine things who describe a kind of low psychic power with a panic pandemic problem.

A virus doesn't follow someone.

A mosquito doesn't follow someone.

A road accident doesn't waiting for someone to come and never follow someone.

Just you can take care to not go where there is a lot of mosquito, so near water retention places (if you can), wear long pants and long shirt, drive slowly, be careful about all the other people when you drive, use blinks BEFORE to turn, and turn your head BEFORE to turn to see really what's going on, you can also wear mask protection wash your hands, not touch anything without any reason, don't go in high density places (if you can). Or if you are really and dramatically afraid about all risk a life can have, stay close in a little strong steel protected hole against bomb, 6 meter deep under your home and have no life (safety first). Or imagine a virus would follow you to try to find your mum, your wife, children... or what ever an other one dramatic scenario who would describe a kind of panic psychic healthy problem.
