Can't be embarrassment. He doesn't do feelings.

Maybe uncomfortable with the 2  (turn up 8 years later)new witnesses who have built in speed cameras in there sunglasses and clearly saw the policeman recklessly turn his bike in front of the bratts car.

Well, of course he is 'uncomfortable'.  He knows this is just one more unnecessary very bad deed added to the already high stack of dastardly deeds done since he took power. The higher the stack reaches, the more likely it will reach the 'tipping point' and the people will finally revolt.  We saw just such a tipping point reached in the US with the Floyd George death by police--years of similar incidents by the police until finally a tipping point was reached.  I'm sure the PM is seething--why, oh why didn't they just continue to play the game of pretending to bring the killer to justice!  We're diligently searching high and low, people and we're sure to find him one of these days.  They had until 2027 to pretend to look!  Total idiots, he's thinking.

She said he has ordered authorities concerned to investigate the case from the very beginning, to find the truth, to ensure fairness to all parties concerned, and to allay public doubts about the prosecutors’ controversial decision.

If he is so uncomfortable with this then as the PM he can do something and show the public that he is not on the same side as the rich & famous.

Time to show that there is some credibility left in the country.

If he lets this slide then the gloves are off for everyone to what the hell they like!

Just a reminder that PM Prayut announced last year that he will supervise Royal Thai Police and chair the Police Commission himself.

He also will supervise the Department of Special Investigations (DSI).

A little late to be uncomfortable with the State dropping prosecution against Voyaruth. Perhaps a vote of confidence needs to go before Parliament.

Someone needs to remind him that he is a public servant, of those 'people', that 'public'

He is not.

The title says that he is uncomfortable with the decision, but in the text he appears to be uncomfortable with the public criticism.......

Of course. Thats the intention of this article. The pm says he is uncomfortable with the decision, a little spin is needed to make it appear he says he is uncomfortable with criticism.

Prayut Chan-o-cha is reported to be uncomfortable with the widespread public criticism of the decision

Interesting how the title is "PM Prayut uncomfortable with the prosecutor’s decision to drop Red Bull heir case."  Which is it, is he uncomfortable with the obviously corrupt decision, or is he just uncomfortable with the criticism?  Gee, I wonder.  LOL

Hard to believe such a decision was made without a nod from the very top , unless he is becoming irrelevant and someone else is pulling all the strings

well this is his big opportunity,to gain some positive points (the first) when he gives his VETO to this faul amnesty and tracks down the despicable official who collected this huge brown enveloppe

I just have one question. If Interpol are involved as the government has been saying for a while now and they know where the guy is and living why has he not been arrested and deported? I think we all know the answer to that?

So Thailand is on the verge of economic and political collapse, the PM is concerned with something that happened years ago that underwent a brown envelope exercise years ago.  Get a dam grip PM and sort your starving people which should be of a greater concern... whats an absolute failure to the human race of Thailand, your a slow kid that was sent to private military school that got on his knees to many times..!

The thing is, it does not say he actually is disappointed with the decision.  It makes a difference.  In one case, he cracks down on protesters.  On the other, he reopens the case.

The perfect scenario, PM feels uncomfortable about it and will demand explanations.

It will take months, if not years, before more information comes out and everybody will forget about this whole thing.

In the end the PM scored by letting this pass by so people below him could receive nice amounts of bribes, and he also scored for the public opinion by speaking out about it while not taking any action. Win win for him, and he has to do nothing for it.

Absolutely spot, sadly. Standard operating procedure for situations like this in Thailand.

As a guest in this country, I will not try to predict his actions nor is it my right to criticize them if he does take any, but I suspect you are correct.

Smoke and mirrors nothing will change. The REDBULL family carry enormous weight. And Prayut wants a few years of above ground retirement lol. He was very comfortable taking money off the family as a donation. Mark this as spam.

He would of known the decision before it was handed down. The decision won’t be overturned. The only thing he would be uncomfortable with is that it made the 2nd page in The NY Times.

I received 5 phone calls of disgust from people in other countries. Kill a cop and walk free....only in Thailand.

Brown paper bags rule the world.

Uncomfortable, what a sweet remark from the Man who has the last word with all matters happening

in Thailand, how about "SHAMEFUL" instead, now that sounds more appropriate for a very serious case

of laughable Thailand justice.

Come on people we might as well stop talking about this, it pointless.

Mysterious witnesses that suddenly appear 8 years after the fact!

We all knew what the outcome of this was going to be years ago.

So we'll have a few days of Twitter outrage, but the vast majority of the population will roll their eyes and say 'It's the Thai way'

Thai population is very unhappy with that.

It is not because a particular government and some people in a institution is corrupted that everybody is corrupted.
