That's Ok then.  Thanks for clearing that up.

Except that the SNP have publicly disowned her, removed the whip, suspended her membership and called for her to resign.  Not a great deal more that they could do.

Compare with publicly defending and remaining in post.

Is she still earning a living...?

if so then Westminster should be happy and comfortable with ridding the UK map of this irrelevance

That would require the governments to actually listen to what the people think, something that rarely happens.

But you asked if she was still earning a living....apparently not content with the actions of her party to date.

And, I ask just one more time:  If she is found not to have broken any laws, should she be allowed to continue her career uninterupted?

PH

You haven't asked me that question before....????

This is my favorite bit from the story.

The Northern Echo exclusively reports that "years of unpaid taxes, potentially between £30,000 and £50,000, on two homes built in breach of planning laws will be written off" for the two homes near Durham.

New charges for the properties will come into effect at the start of this month on a cottage Cummings built on the farm with his father in 2002.

If he was not Johnsons advisor he would be getting stiffed for those taxes.

Pure corruption.

So now I am asking again.

PH

You are not asking again, you never asked me......

If she is found not to have broken any laws then it is up to the SNP or the speaker to do what ever they want/can do in regards to taking the House into disrepute.......

The SNP and the Speaker have televised their thoughts and I agree. If she is allowed to stay as an SNP MP, then that is another nail in its coffin..

She is already NOT an SNP MP.

So you agree that she should go - starngely at odds with your continual defence of Cimmins who, although not elected, is an influential public figure.

Cummings in not an MP, he does not represent anyone in the House...

Cummings did not travel on public transport..

Cummings was police investigated and faced no charges..

Anything else..?

Cummings has not been paying council tax on his hideaway property.

Cummings did not have planning permission to build the house.

Cummings has been let off the council charges because of utter corruption.

So what, his private life is his business, not yours or mine.....

Give me your name/details and I will do some digging on you...................????

On second thoughts, don't bother, you're not an MP either....????

I did not use the word final but you just did. Quote proper examples, otherwise you have no argument.

I was paraphrasing in order to summarise.

paraphrase

verb

express the meaning of something written or spoken using different words, especially to achieve greater clarity.

summarise

verb

give a brief statement of the main points of (something).

So Cummings evading his council tax is nobody's business but his?

He has been evading it since 2002 ! He is a wealthy man and can easily afford to pay it while millions of others across the UK struggle to come up with the money but they do so because its the law.

And yet you defend him.

And who gave you your definition of loyalist? Sinn Fein? Corbyn?

No; Ulster Loyalists.

What do you think is wrong with that definition?

Are you saying that one cannot be a Unionists without also being a Loyalist?

If so; you are wrong.

I remember a certain M. Thatcher describing herself as a loyalist.

You may very well be correct; but so what?

1) How do you plan on funding defense?

2) What currency will you use?

3) Will you accept a hard border ?

4) No guarentee on joining the EU - especially in regards to an open border to England.

5) What do you plan to build you economy on? You have nothing, now that North Sea oil is at a rotten low.

6) How do you work out the debts you owe?

Utter horse balony. You've also already had an election a few years ago. Best out of three?

On the point of currency that will be up to barrier they will be dancing to the tune he whistles when they go crawling back to the Eu.however should they need a new currency, Ireland had the punt,UK had the pound, how about the ponce?

Don't post excuses,

No excuses from me; I have repeatedly condemned her and said she should resign.

7 hours ago, transam said:

has the SNP MP done the right thing and given up her salary as asked by all around her.......Yes or No...?

No; but I have repeatedly said that I think she should.

As has everyone in the SNP from Sturgeon down to Ferrier's local constituency office.

7 hours ago, transam said:

The MP that will not walk is the point, you know, the lady that slagged off Cummings who didn't even have C19 or was an MP....????

Yep, total hypocrisy on her part; as I have said before.

But your attempts to lay the blame for that on the SNP are ridiculous.

Has everyone in the SNP from Sturgeon down to Ferrier's local constituency office called upon her to resign? Yes or no?

Cummings and Boris haven't, though; and their spokespeople

refused to say anything when asked!

BTW, Cummings did have C19; he said so in his press press conference! But he is not an MP, and so a lot easier to sack.

7 hours ago, transam said:

Johnson and Cummings can sit smiling quietly in the background as the SNP buries itself.

The SNP is not burying itself; one ex member is burying herself.

The SNP have acted completely honourably in this matter. They have sacked her from the party and repeatedly called upon her to resign as an MP.

They cannot sack her as an MP; so what else would you suggest they can do?
