The new research results on a ‘genius taxi’ under funding by CAT Telecom Public Company Limited was presented in Phuket and expected to be used to manage and enhance efficiency of the transportation management in big cities like Bangkok or tourist cities like Phuket. The research conducted by Computer Engineering Department of King Mongkut Institute of Technology. If operational, the cab services can be used through CDMA wireless or the call center or the internet with request or orders directly linked to the taxi which is closest to the dialer.
