It's not so easy to get entangled in Bedlam now the Bedders posts are not displayed on the View New Posts page. That's how I stumbled in here, just saw a topic I thought I'd stick my oar in on and afterwards thought "<deleted> is Bedlam?". Too late I was entrapped, to late to JUST SAY NO TO BEDLAM.

You are absolutely correct November Rain and I thought it was a very nice gesture too. However since then I have noticed Moss seemed to be adopting, and doing a great job at it, the role of Bedlam's Welcoming Committee. Not sure if you had done your dash when I arrived and lowered the tone of the place.

I am sure I am heading somewhere warmer too which is good, I like the heat as long as it is a dry heat, can't stand harp music unless it is a blues harp (harmonica) and wouldn't know anyone up there. Still the wings would be nice.

I am going to see if I can muster up Humphrey Bear - can't be hard to find. I mean how many 6' Bears wearing a waistcoat, straw boater and no pants can there be in this place?

I sent Humphrey a PM and attached a link to the Bedlam rules thread - seemed like a good idea for someone to read them after the mods went to so much trouble to write them.

Hopefully he will eventually find his way into the frey

This could be true - however, I think it's the 'mad' nature of some of the 'madder' threads. If your not in at the start they can seem a bit abstract.

That's interesting because I find the one's on the outside of the walled city madder. There is one which asks the question "is Vietnam or Cambodia a good investment prospect" that has at least two subthreads including one on "how America is responsible for the destruction of Cambodia". Has absolutely nothing to do with the topic but continues on with minimal factual information.

I think here is saner and more interesting

Mossfinn - mate I just did a scan of the membership base for people with more than 480 posts and there is a whole pack of them - plus a bunch with more than 500 who haven't made it here and don't have a welcome thread. We are either going to need a basket thread to catch everyone or there will be about 65 new threads opening which will really irritate cdnvic.
