Now the American F15 Falcon is a different bird or you may mean Fulcrum which is the Nato classifier for the MiG29

Mossfinn - mate I just did a scan of the membership base for people with more than 480 posts and there is a whole pack of them - plus a bunch with more than 500 who haven't made it here and don't have a welcome thread. We are either going to need a basket thread to catch everyone or there will be about 65 new threads opening which will really irritate cdnvic.

This is of course true, but I used to do it when I just happened to come across someone on 500, but then I got caught up in the heady excitement of it all and actually went looking for them, just to give them a welcome.

And then, Ecstacy, I found the top posters of all time and realized I could jump straight to page 24 and voila all my prayers were answered.

But the cold tukey was horrendous, just waiting and watching the screen waiting for someone to jump to 500 was getting on top of me and sometimes I would fall asleep and disaster, someone would have come up on the blind-side and do a 20-30 post splurge rocketing them past the magical line and i hadn't welcomed them in.

I am still getting over some of these set backs,

You see I even missed Muckypups.

And then to make it even worse I had upset Vic.

I am still in therapy, drug re-hab and daily counselling.

What will I do when the FC make it, I am sure people are already waiting and watching to be the first just to make me feel bad, he is 489 oh what will I do.

Well, the "If you're listening to music/Change a letter/Get the song title/Three word story threads of course. Cheap shot I know, but effective!.. Oh, and I bet I'm not the only one to pull that stunt... Sinom....!! :D

And while I'm here an apology to November Rain.. earlier in the thread I responded to a welcome message from NR with a blunder.. i.e. "Thanks Jet.." I blame it on my preference for looking at pictures.. and her avatar threw me.. (a lame excuse I know) Thanks for the welcome NR

Actually throwing in the odd but totally unnecessary platitude to our Gorgon Mistress will not go astray. Both MiG and November are way too nice to get angry about you sending a "thanks" to the wrong person but it helps to realise and send a belated Oops to them like you did above.
