webfact
Pattaya: China's state news agency calls resort deserted and Thais have no money Picture: Kom Chad Luek A report by the Thai arm of the Chinese state news agency Xinhua published pictures and a brief one paragraph report about the desperate state of Pattaya. They said the pictures were taken on Tuesday this week. They showed empty deckchairs, an almost deserted beach and sea. And a lonely farang looking at his phone. Pattaya was once thronging with Chinese especially the beach that became a drop off point for sea tours, notes Thaivisa. Picture: Kom Chad Luek Now Xinhua has said that the closure of the airspace and the borders have left Pattaya deserted and the Thai people with no money. Xinhua is the biggest news organization in China and one of the biggest in the world in terms of the number of correspondents. Picture: Kom Chad Luek Thai media Kom Chad Luek carried the story and provided a link but made no mention of where it came from in the body of their brief report merely mentioning that it was "foreign media". Popular Post JusticeGB
CCP tells the truth for the first time should be the headline. The Thai Government hasn't realised what damage has been reeked on cities like Pattaya and its workers mainly from Isaan. It will never fully recover and the mayor is eyeing up changing Walking Street into a shopping mall so the character of Pattaya will be gone forever. I remember taking my 6 year old daughter for a walk down Walking Street she just loved all the pretty lights and noise of Walking Street. I probably had different thoughts about it. 9

I was sent a photo about San Antonio today with nobody there. My thoughts were oh well the sun will still be shining there next summer. Can't wait to go back Pattaya has died off since COVID came into play as there are no global tourists anymore. I was over there last week and the beach was like a ghost town. Some bars have the usual barstool locals who know everything about the world but funny thing is they never leave the bar. lol 4

Even without knowing the true origin of the Covid pandemic, I and countless millions of others are a tad pi55ed off. The systematic cover up, the disappearing of scientists trying to reveal the true potential of the said virus and the pressure applied to the WHO to tag along with the lies they were spouting, all to save face for the CCP, is enough in my book to justify a little bit of China bashing. 19 1
