Apartments Near Soi Thonglor 13

Featured Replies

Hey all, I am moving to BKK at the beginning of June and I was wondering if anyone lives in, or knows of any reasonably priced furnished apartments around the Soi Thonglor 13 area. I would like to keep the monthly rent under 8,000 THB per month. It must have air con, fridge, balcony & cable TV. A king size bed & a sofa would be preferable. Any Ideas?

No, but let me know if you find a decent one under 8k...Chances are that you're going to have to raise your buget :o Good luck!

I have had a look at this website, it looks pretty good. If you end up having a look at the place let me know what you think.

I think that you will have to raise your budget considerably if you want to stay on Thonglor itself. Just to give you an idea i stay on Soi 18 in a 55 sq metre condominium room and i pay a basic 18000 baht per month. I searched extensively around 3 year ago and i could not find anything cheaper.

Not good news but i hope this helps.

Cheers Rick

thonglor soi 13 is an area where many rich thais live in their houses. I know.

but on a parallel street ekkamai soi 30, there are many low budget places in the 5k baht range. even lower. but some rich thai people call it the slums. personally, they are ok if you don't mind living in something the size of a studio.

there is one complex at the intersection of petchaburi and ekkamai that has a swimming pool included in their 5k monthly rental. can't remember the name. but of course, we all have our own opinions on what is considered "acceptable".

a couple of blocks behind the foodland on petchaburi road, there are a few large apartment complexes that will run you about 6k baht a month.

for the largest selection of apartments, go to prakanong or rachada.

some places that I liked for around 10k baht include pkmansion, watana mansion, mind mansion, meechai mansion, pnp mansion, la mansion. jesus. now that I think about it. every place is called mansion. oh. bu place is not a mansion.

sukhumvit soi 22 has siranum court, liberty place, queen mansion, house by the pond, etc.

sukhumvit soi 12 has rama mansion, bangkapi mansion.

sukhumvit soi 1 has chan fong, europark, krista mansion.

there are so many... go walk a little.
