PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Patong tomorrow (Oct 1) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 5pm, are along both sides of Phra Baramee Rd, from Wat Suwankhiriwong (Wat Patong) to the Sea Sun Sand Resort & Spa near the Patong beachfront.

Adjoining areas and streets will be affected by the power outage, the PEA noted in its announcement.
