We do love out country. Thats why we voted remain.

  • The Euros are running around like headless chickens on the other thread. It's as if they think another example of EU saber rattling is important and the UK would be impressed by it or the threat of EC

  • You condone law breaking then providing it’s us breaking the law ? If the EU did it how loudly would you be wailing now ? ????

Dont make me laugh ....sure Cummings is not aware of things ....he must be very unaware ....is that the reason Boris need him ....for his ignorance of everything .

Same case different aproach by their polic leaders .....

Both guilty of breaking the rules

.....oh i forgot ...when conservatives  are the culprits than it is not so bad ...than all excuses are taken out of the thinking box

Common guys get real ????????

Oh what joy! What happiness. What a nice SNP bad story.

Meanwhile the UK is crashing against the rocks and sinking because of Johnson and the Brexiteers incompetency and stupidity.

Whats happening with that Conservative MP who is being investigated for sexual misconduct? The one the Conservative party threw its arms around in order to protect him?

Whats happening with Ross Thomson running around a bar in the commons groping men?

Cummins should have been sacked.

But oh no. That stuff is acceptable.

“the lady” is an MP, Cummins isn’t.

Cummings exposed number 10 to the virus.

Should he have been sacked?

Sturgeon has removed the party whip from her and told her to resign. Even though she is a personal friend.

Now the MP has not responded yet but given she is at home suffering from corona you might want to give her a week or so to recover.

On the other hand whats happening with the Conservative MP being investigated for sexual assault?

Whats happening with Ross Thomson running around the bar groping men?

Cummins spread corona around number 10.

Should he be sacked?

I'll take that as a No then.

No Remainer outrage, No Twitter storm of indignation, No lefty pitchforks at dusk.

So what you are telling us is that you are ignorant of how parliament works? Well I, for one, can believe that.

You should speak to your ultra nationalist hero - Johnson refused to call on her to resign. I wonder why that might be...

Cummings didn't have the virus, "the lady" did.

She has been told to resign by her Party leader and personal friend.

Compare and contrast that with the actions of the leaders of the Tory and Labour party.

The European Union's decision to launch legal action against the UK was ridiculed by talkRADIO host Julia Hartley-Brewer and former Brexit negotiator David Davis. On Thursday, EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen announced that the EU was launching legal proceedings against the UK over Boris Johnson's plans to override parts of the Brexit divorce deal. However, Ms Hartley-Brewer called this an empty threat, after pointing out the EU launches legal actions against member states "all the time".

She said: "There are huge numbers of these cases brought by the EU. Legal action is brought by the EU against member states all the time.

"Including those very upset about the Internal Market Bill like Germany, France, Ireland and the others."

The radio host pointed out that the UK is currently facing 33 such threats from Brussels, compared to Spain’s 57, Italy’s 49 and Germany’s 47.

Ms Hartley-Brewer added: "This is just a bit of grand-standing, a bit of theatre, isn't it?

Say what you like about the Express, you can never accuse it of being fussy when it comes to pushing the boundaries of what might be considered 'journalism'.

Obviously because she can't. A big relief for Wee Burney.

So your SNP member can't be sacked but you think an 'opposition' employee should have been?

He is an employee and his actions reflect upon his employer.

Which is Johnson.

If you are taking legal advice from Juliet Hartley-Brewer then you are really struggling. ????

You really do seem confused here. There is no mechanism for an MP to be summarily dismissed by their party. They represent their constituency, not the party. If there was such a means then I think she would be deserving of it and I would like to see it implemented. As for Cummings, yes - as there was no impediment to his dismissal other than the  fact that Johnson cannot function without him, he should have had his employment terminated.

No confusion. Will she resign? Why hasn’t she done so already?

You and MSM were all up in arms about Cummings and still are. Why not so much about her?

You all decided it’s a sackable offence (or resignation) but the Tories didn’t. You could, but won’t, have a witch hunt for her, but the Tories don’t need to for one their own.

Differen strokes for differen folks.

Finally, something we agree upon - the Nasty Party up and down the country either defended Cummings or took the cowardly way out and went to ground; Sturgeon has effectively kicked Ferrier out of the party and said that she should resign. When I last checked, 3 SNP MPs echoed her call for Ferrier to resign. Yet here we are, 6 months after Cummings flouted the law and weeks after Johnson's father did so, and not a peep.
