King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk departed Cambodia yesterday for a routine medical check-up in China.

 

The King and Queen Mother were seen off at the Phnom Penh International Airport yesterday morning by Prime Minister Hun Sen, Senate president Say Chhum, National Assembly president Heng Samrin and other senior government and legislative body officials as well as members of the royal families and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wentian.

 

The King wrote a letter on Monday, saying in his absence Chhum will be acting Head of State. The King and Queen Mother’s last visit to China was in April.

Routine check up in China means updated brainwash

Well, the King behaves so the establishment of oligarch elite has no issue with it and the army is nowhere at the switches either. He learnt very fast from his father, who brought Cambodia into independence in 1941 without firing a single shot - true diplomats, both of them! 

Travelling to China for a routine medical check up. So they have zero faith in their own countries medical staff.
