Well I didn't die from it, and I'm old and sick (bunged up ear for 4-6 weeks).

My misses didn't die from it, she is young and healthy (10 days fever).

My son didn't die from it, he's young and healthy (3 days fever).

My daughter didn't die from it, she's young and healthy (no symptoms).

In the words of Senna, "Woe, woe and thrice woe."

You have no evidence that you had it. Were you tested? Almost certainly a mild dose of flu.

Assuming world population is 7 billion. Assuming say 4 billion are working age (allowing for students, oaps, disabled, kids, etc), Assuming that just 1% - just 1% - lose their jobs due to covid - 40,0

  • Theres gonna be a hell of a lot more of this, worldwide...

  • Sadly, this is how we will start to see the polls shift away from most Thais thinking that the country remaining closed is a good thing. Most do not yet understand that, even though their own

Your post is plain dumb; right now 1,140,000 people have  died of COVID, officially. But what you are unable to understand, for apparent lack of IQ, is that the lockdowns, that have indeed caused the loss of many jobs have saved many millions of people who would have died if the disease had been left loose..

Just don't try to bring up numbers, when you are totally lacking any analytical sense.

1,140,000 is about 0.0000162 of the 7 billion population of the world. 90% of those dying are old or previous health conditions. 353,000 are born every day - covid kills about 5,000 a day - so no worries of human race dying out. Human  race grows about 20 million a year. Covid is making no impact - destitution from no work and poverty is.

Do lockdowns work ? In your world you prefer more death from lock downs than covid - Lockdowns are killing more people than covid ! I'd like you to visit every one of those that died due to lock down and tell them that it was worth it !

Donald Trump: 74 years old, obese, survives on a diet of hamburgers and fries, never exercises. He felt a bit lousy for 3 days and got over it.

If you care to look at the cocktail of medications he was treated with, taxpayer-funded and unavailable to said taxpayers, perhaps you would not make such an inane post. It wasn't three days, and he felt more than a bit lousy. Admitted to Walter Reed Hospital.

"Covid's going to kill you all!"  Probably not.
"But 40 million people (40,000,000) have Covid!!!" <wrings hands>
That means the 7.76 billion (7,760,000,000) people are not infected.
"But 1.1 million people (1,100,000) have died world-wide!!!" <tears>
That means that 7.79+ billion (7,790,000,000) are still alive and kicking
In seven months Covid deaths amount to a rounding error in annual global deaths. "Infections" compared to the entire world population is insignificant.  The vast number of humans on this planet are alive and doing fine and are gaining immunity.
But in the meantime governments are destroying the economic existence of large swathes of their populations.
Covid isn't going to be the Black Plague, but economic disaster may well pick up where Covid leaves off and the economic pandemic to come may make of the Black Plague look like a walk in the park.
And the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of governments and their autocratic, despotic, dictator class who emerged out of the woodwork when Big Pharma "experts" yelled "Fire!" on the global stage.

With out the measures put in place, the number of deaths would be way higher.  Orders of magnitude higher.

I am not sure that you understand what "orders of magnitude" actually means.

In the beginning, forecasts were into the millions of deaths in  the US.  That would be an order of magnitude greater that what we've experienced.  Understood?

This virus is not man-made, because the nation in question would not create the virus, without also creating a cure, simultaneously, for obvious reasons.

As there is no cure (yet) we can safely assume it was not engineered.

Unless, of course, it mutated early on - after a so-called 'cure' was established.....

One can go on forever, conspiring to justify conspiracies that others are unable to prove or disprove
