Butter, Margarine or Fat Spread - What is the healthier option?

Recommended Posts

Browsing through the internet, I just came across this subject about a non-dairy milk that is similar to cows milk - Remilk.

Apparently it is produced by a process called "microbial fermentation" and is minus the "bad" properties of cows milk.

So my only hope is that some sort of healthy butter & cheese will be on the supermarket shelves soon!

Anyone knows more about this product?

Any spread with polyunsaturated oils such as olive, sunflower or canola is healthier than butter, which has saturated fats.

Fat spread is a fairly meaningless term which covers both margarine and butter.

There is NO scientific evidence showing that saturated fats are unhealthy. Plenty of 'facts' coming from the vegetable fat lobby though.
