Missing highways official found dead near Thap Larn tunnels - fate of missing couple uncertain

 

 

The body of missing Na Dee highway official Noppadol "Geng" Samranphon has been found. 

 

Geng was riding a scooter on his way to inspect flooding at the tunnels linking the Thap Larn and Khao Yai national parks when he went missing. 

 

He was found dead by a landslide restraining wall near the tunnels.

 

Meanwhile the search for a married couple who have also gone missing continues.

 

The fate of Samniang and wife Oo who were swept away along with their house in Wang Mai remains uncertain, reported TNN Thailand.

Help needed, why do they build this type of tunnel , you see many when there appears to be nothing on top other than backfill and a few small  trees, the highway official out on his motorbike in those conditions was over and above what one would exspect
