13,997 tests in Thailand as of yesterday out of a population of just under 70 million.  No wonder there are so few reported cases here.  On a per capita basis, that puts Thailand at number 156 out of 198 countries and territories that have reported test numbers. Try reading the data properly. The number of tests conducted is 977,854. Your figure is the number of tests per 100k population and if you sort the columns correctly it shows Thailand at position 165 for tests/100k

 

Alongside Indonesia - that’s nothing to be proud of, is it?

 

Another case of no testing brings low results .. even tho’ there’s a massive population they have hundreds of thousands of deaths if I recall.

I agree with all the above except "testing."

I would give Thailand a fail when it comes to testing.

if you test in a minimalist way and if you dont test casualities of the elderly in the retired and poor areas for financial reasons, yeah of course you are scoring the best.

What type of testing is done?

PCR Test I assume, which doesn't prove an infection. This test is a fraud. Infection can only be proven by antigen test.

Use google if you want to know details.

That's a strange list of countries, especially when you compare official numbers in Thailand with those in Indonesia. Taking them at face value... Wasn't Vietnam a lot more successful than Indonesia?

In my local paper today in Colorado: "4 new deaths, 3 in their 80s and 1 in their 90s, all died while in long term care nursing homes".

 

The virus is killing people who were over their life expectancy and who were already indoors 24/7. How is this lockdown making any sense anymore???
