Lets not forget that over 70,000,000 Americans still voted for him - after experiencing him for 4 years. Almost unbelievable.

  • Trump golfs and stirs up hatred whilst Americans die in their thousands. Some weird sort of legacy!

Actually some people have grace and dignity, not the case with current WH incumbents

I misread "cult" as another four letter word and thought it had "of a" after it !

True, I should have said most "winners". In public life I struggle to see much of the grace and dignity in evidence during such transitions unfortunately. But hope springs eternal.

Many cast their vote against the democrats which is different from voting for Mr. Trump. It may be hard for a non American to understand that the democrats scare folks.

This lack of grace and acceptance is true to character for him. Other transitions in my memory have been dignified and accepting

The hate was also generated from day one by DJT and his supporters. Own the behaviour and move on.

Differing POV were ridiculed by tweets from day one. Continuing mis truths and inability to hear others is not the sign of a mature leader

It is more reflective of tin pot dictatorships inThird world countries backed up by guns. This one used terms like Losers too often and showed lack of emotion intelligence

So what about Biden's post election conduct shows that he's a bad winner?

Did Obama act badly after his victories? George Bush? Bill Clinton?

Part of being a bad loser is peddling falsehoods in the wake of a defeat. Which you've just done.

Poor misguided, brainwashed fools!

So long as either side of politics post on topic content, with credible sources, I personally have not seen posts removed from TVF. For now and the future would be a good idea for some members to review their sources of info to minimise posting unsubstantiated / false content.

Problem is with biden as president the media won't be as critical in scrutinizing his every move as they have been for Mr Trump so finding a news source worthy of this forum maybe difficult.

Calling out lies and falsehoods is a critical function of the press. Stop pretending that Trump didn't bring that criticism on himself.

No that's not what I am referring to - I'm not commenting on Biden, Obama, etc.

My point was "winners" - in inverted commas. I guess the inverted commas didn't translate enough for you.

Feel free to think of me what you will.

My point was most "winners" (in inverted commas) you see are ill-graced self-serving narcissists. Like Trump.

Funny. Because it's the losers I see here subscribing to false allegations and denying reality. Do you expect others to leave their nonsense uncommented on?

Oh I guess like vogie then you only care about being a winner or a loser. No room for anything else. Enjoy your life then.

First you ludicrously make a mass psychiatric diagnosis of winners as narcissists and now you tell me what I care about. Bitter much?

I think the estimate runs to about 50000. Almost none wearing masks.

What I'm saying is biden will be protected a bit more by the news.

Still missing the "winners" inverted commas.

I said I guess you do, not you do.

I guess just another rabid judgementalist.

Ignore.

Trump is a liar and a failure at everything he does. You lost. Man up. Trump didn't talk about the election at all, except for a moment where he appeared to be on the verge of acknowledging an incoming Biden administration. But he caught himself at the last moment, saying only: "Whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration it will be. I guess time will tell."

Such a fatalistic tone is not what you'd expect from someone who genuinely believed the election had been stolen from him, or who thought he had a real shot at reversing the outcome. This is pure theatre at this point, a stage play directed by an utter narcissist, who cares not one iota for his nation, long held principals of honor or integrity, or democracy. It is all about little Donny.

Covid is raging. You have succeeded in making America one of the most pitiful nations on earth. Did you even notice daily rates are up to 140,000 cases, and 1,400 deaths? Do you even care?

See you Don. Get out. Get out now. Your life will sort itself out. Yes, you are exiting to vastly declining fortunes. Yes, your name is the most radioactive name on earth. Yes, you will never sign another management deal in your sorry lifetime. And yes, the authorities will be coming after you. There is always exile in Dubai. It is likely they would love to have you. And you can even have lunch with Thaksin, and discuss the life of an exiled ex-leader.

Well he’s already referring to a few thousand marchers as ‘hundreds of thousands’.

Bare faced lies, lapped up by the ‘faithful’.

One thing I have enjoyed is the media seems to have taken off the gloves a little.  Instead of hemming and hawing when Trump lies they seem to be immediately using phrases like "false claims from the president" even if they don't come right out and say shameful lies.

For the first time on Friday, Trump began to sound doubtful about his prospects, telling reporters "time will tell" who occupies the White House from Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.

Unbelievable. Trump and some of his supporters are totally insane. The only one who occupies the White House is Trump, methinks.

Until January 20. Then President Elect Biden takes over. That can't happen soon enough. There is also the possibility that Mr. Trump will resign and then Mike Pence would become president for a few days to pardon Mr. Trump. Wouldn't that be charming? Well, at least in that scenario Mike Pence fulfills his dream of being president. I guess a few days is better than nothing.
