There is another report of someone who was positive then recovered and told to self isolate for 14 days at home.

This seems to be different case. If i understand correctly, resident back from foreign country tested positive and allowed self quarantine by hospital. Anyone who can read thai confirm english translation match with thai text?

Self isolation is common when the patient isn't displaying symptoms, but I don't see anything in the notice which indicates this is being used instead of ASQ if that's what you're hoping for.  It reads to me like ASQ has already been completed when this incident has occurred.
