I had to laugh at this post when I saw the words, "the evidence seen to date would support election fraud"..........NEWSFLASH: – there is no evidence!!

 

Ever thought that's why no one has even bothered to take on the stupid and unprovable cases that trump and his entourage are proposing.

 

For intelligent people, it's plain to see and not worth the effort, but for trump supporters, well that's a different matter altogether.

If only the US had a branch of government of which one of the chief functions was looking at evidence and see if it was adequate to afford it a full and formal hearing. If I had the chance to rewrite the Constitution I would call it the Judicial branch of government, co-equal to the Executive and Legislative branches of government. And if appeals to the institution and similar institutions had been denied at least 61 times and only acceded to once, I would conclude that evidence to support claims of fraud is lacking.

i'm suspecting the new, revised renovation plans for maralago will be a full-scale model of the oval office.  trump can run a shadow government in exile, being recognized by a few south american banana republics along with some middle eastern dictatorships he's buddied up with recently.

So, it certainly looks now that Barr resigned on Dec. 23, because he could see that Trump, having replaced the Secretary of Defense and others in the civilian leadership with faceless stooges, that he was attempting to impose martial law.  Former NSA and felon Mike Flynn called openly for Trump to impose martial law on Dec. 17.  Barr not only resigned strangely such a short time before the end of Trump's term, but began openly disputing Trump's claims that the election was stolen from him.  

 

When the ten living former Secretaries of Defense issued a public letter on Jan. 4 warning the military to stay out of the election on the pain of imprisonment, that left Trump with just the attack on Congress.  Had a massacre resulted Trump would have declared martial law and cancelled the inauguration.  

 

But that was too much for Barr, so he bailed early.

That's possible, too, but the only reason that I can see that Trump would have wanted to fire Barr is because Barr was pushing back on the stolen election claims of Trump.  But that begs the question why Barr would have been willing to jeopardize his relationship with Trump over what was at that time nothing more than just more Trump lies.  It doesn't make sense that he would do that unless there were something bigger than lying in the background, such as an upcomig coup attempt.

There may be a more simple answer. He left Trump because Trump was not useful to him any more. Trumps aides don't feel any sense of loyalty. They are like him: sharks.
