So much for the UK's ultimatum.

Deadline for Brexit Trade Talks Is Extended. Again.
Britain and the European Union agreed to give the seemingly intractable negotiations yet more time in an attempt to strike a deal and avoid a disruptive no-deal outcome before Dec. 31.

Surge of supertrawlers off UK before Brexit killing dolphins and destroying fish stocks, say ocean activists

Ten industrial-scale fishing vessels home in on Channel – and may still legally go in Marine Protected Areas

The fleet, mostly Dutch, started arriving last month, and their numbers gradually swelled to reach 10 on Friday. Two have been there for nearly three weeks – longer than supertrawlers usually stay.

On the Dutch super trawlers

On Friday, volunteers with the Brighton Dolphin Project found a porpoise washed up with its tail having been cut off.

Animals such as porpoises that drown in the giant nets are cut out of them when hauled in so that they do not damage the nets. They are then thrown overboard.

My reaction was  that this can...,and shall also happen with U.K. fisherman ships also...., or don't they have no screws blades / propellers  or they just sail ...? ???? ... it shall  also happen with U.K. fishing ships , dreadful  but can happen .

Hence my bad joke (for the Dolphins ..) " big holes " but than no fish ever stay's in ????

There is a resemblance between Dutch ships hurrying up for catching the last fish, and UK nationals hurrying up applying for EU citizenship.

They both have the  quota's in mind .....to achieve them in time ????
