I was kinda having a little fun here, after what Crowboy has been saying, as you know it doesn't take much to please me :o

Again this is another guy? That has never really come across my radar.

Good Luck

Moss

I never got any welcome note

no meet and greet service

no chocolates

no arsenal shirt either :o

I never got any welcome note

Can't have that....... I'll do it now.

Are you sure?, I thought Loaded had been doing the rounds for years, mostly in the teaching forum.

Far too clever for us lot if it's the same member.

Anyway Moss how's your new arrival coming along? What's the date for us to pop the champagne corks?

Kind regards.

June 3rd, my friend, but I have a feeling it wont go the distance :o

As for Champagne Corks, where are you now, Still in Sweden ?Wondering if you can make it round for the traditional wetting of the babies head.

Good Luck

Ah, wetting the babies head. I haven't heard that expression for ages...

If Mrs Moss can hold the littl'un in until the 22nd, I'll be there. :o

I am not intending in having it straight after the event Robbo, and as the 22nd is my birthday, it looks like a plan may be coming together!

I am of course of indeterminate age, having lost a particular large part of the time, due the 'gargle dimming my brain', and if anybody can quote the song that comes from, fair play to you.

Suegha, I expect you have sung this song on many occasions :o

Good Luck

Only when very drunk! My father and many of his generation called drink 'gargle'. Thank you to Moss for bringing back so many happy memories.

ps Can you remember the saying 'Fluuterred' meaning very drunk? As in, I was fluuterred! There may be a better spelling, but say it with a heavy Irish accent and if you know it, it will come back to you...

I sent a PM to Humphrey and had no reply - think maybe scared him off.

Second the motion to vote Mossfinn the "official Bedlam Meet and Greet representative" with November Rain as his able assistant. Jet Gordon will set up the non official "these are the rules of Bedlam" notes which will be presented to each new member. Ta22 will send them a copy of his posting notes and AussieThaid will prepare a booklet on translating some of Ta22's recent postings such as "Discount - now that is an interesting word"

:D

Ok Moss, I can probably get my flight moved to the 20th and the 21st is a Saturday and by the time we're finished 'wetting the babies head' it'll be the 22nd so... yes that'll be great.

Who's coming to Moss's house!!

I see the Manchester meeting never happened, maybe they've been holding off for a special occassion :o:D

Spotted a post from Humphrey in Raro's Beer Thread so he has arrived and apparently keeping a low profile

Can't say as I have ever used the term, Suegha, but a favourite that came out of Limerick, I believe, approx 25-30 years ago was 'Langers', of course I would be too young to have used it. :o

Good Luck

Moss

Crowboy, are you saying HB is here and he hasn't said hello, shame!

Yeah, 'Langers' was one we used a lot... Oh, happy days...

As per this post link Humphrey I can confirm to the Official Bedlam Welcome Committee members that Humphrey has landed in this time and space.
