I'm not sure anyone really knows the extent of it. And that may be a good thing. Perhaps it's best if the illusion persists. A big security blanket for everyone. For example, many many people think they own gold. But do they really, or do they just hold some paper promise? So long as everyone believes in the promises made, then the gold market will continue to function. Otherwise, maybe not. For sure, they have some idea about the extent of the notational value of existing derrivative contracts and gross values, but the world has yet to find out how it all plays out in the event of a systemic meltdown. -

I don't usually like meme's but since this is more a political cartoon meme I'll have to say at it's very core, this is the kind of thing Noam Chomsky talks about. The elite rich pitting the general population against one another. If you divide a nation and keep them fighting with one another they won't be focused on the maneuvers of the elite. The elite are safe from being the focus of attention and can go about their business of attaining more wealth and power. (deregulation, tax legislation etc). In this time of history the divivion of the uber wealth and the lower classes is widening. In simpler terms. The top 1% have more wealth than the entire 99% of the US population. 3.5 million people have the same wealth as 350 million of the rest of us. The wealth and control of the ultra rich is immense. Disunity of the population is the friend of the elite ultra-rich. -

Non O Extension Renewal | Timing and Travel Question
@josephbloggs You currently have permission of stay until 2nd July and a multi re-entry permit, so re-entering on 28th June you will be stamped in until 2nd July. Why don't you submit your 1-year extension application at the same time? I usually apply 45 days early, but my under consideration stamp is always dated from the expiry date of my current extension to 30 days after. However, it is usually approved before my current extension expires. Ensure you advise CW of your planned trips and hopefully your extension application will be approved and can be collected on Monday 30th June. You'll need to obtain a new re-entry permit to cover your new extension period. -
