My dear, sainted mother regularly sends me 'survival' parcels from Blighty; books, newspaper cuttings, and Marmite, Branston pickle, corned-beef etc. But the chocolate is great; not only do I have the slavering anticipation when I spot something lurking in the corner of the box, I also get to see some weird and wonderful shapes. Imagine a Salvador Dali rendition of 'Mars bar still-life' and you're getting warm. Like the chocolate, in fact...

Well, just one of those 'stream of consciousness' posts. I've become quite adept at picking metal foil off melted chocolate since I've been here. Reminds me of being a young whippersnapper and that can't be bad.
