Yeah, it's a bit like the pitcher plant; you know, the one where the hapless insect is enticed inside by the sweet aroma and then realises, too late, that it's sliding to a grisly death.

Why didn't they just call it the Bedlam Plant and save me the problem of dreaming-up the analogy? :o

Good analogy though!

If " Life is like a box of chocolates"..........Gump

Then Bedders is like the pain you get from a bit of silver foil stuck in your teeth from the dam_n box.

Hmm, someone else who refuses to throw away perfectly good chocolate even though it's melted beyond recognition... :o

and covered in fluff.

My dear, sainted mother regularly sends me 'survival' parcels from Blighty; books, newspaper cuttings, and Marmite, Branston pickle, corned-beef etc. But the chocolate is great; not only do I have the slavering anticipation when I spot something lurking in the corner of the box, I also get to see some weird and wonderful shapes. Imagine a Salvador Dali rendition of 'Mars bar still-life' and you're getting warm. Like the chocolate, in fact... :o

One of the funniest one line posts I've read (it doesn't take much to make someone with an IQ of 75 laugh. It used to be 160, but then I started posting on TV).

Well done.

Well, just one of those 'stream of consciousness' posts. I've become quite adept at picking metal foil off melted chocolate since I've been here. Reminds me of being a young whippersnapper and that can't be bad. :o

Brrrrr, whenever I see her fisog, I get the shivers and not the erotic type either. Thank God she wasn't looking at the camera when the shutter was released. The stuff of nightmares... :o

Methinks he protesteth too much. Go on Mick, admit it. You lust after her...

It's okay - you're not the only one. I suspect CB has secret desires as well...

Hi CarlBkk, Welcome to Bedlam.

I was lucky enough to be about the 4th visitor to your GOM thread and thus got to watch the whole thread go from a very funny first impression then saw it mutate through varying forms as various posters hopped onto the bandwagon.

Congratulations on keeping to your original ideas and once again wecome to the "madhouse"

:o

PS don't foget to tell us about yourself in the other pinned thread

Thanks Ken! It's great to be here. I'm still trying to figure out how I've hit the 500 milestone...

Welcome carlBkk to bedlam. Please tell us about yourself in the 'other' pinned thread.

Welcome CarlBkk.

No doubt another misguided soul who took a wrong turn at Albuquerque, or the wrong fork in the road (never mind....all roads lead to Bedlam).

Redepmtion is possible in Bedlam at the hands of Nurse Diesel.

You can check out any time you like....but you can never leave.
